I’m a Daughter of the King and Messiah, the wife of a cowboy, the mother of 5 wild honyocks, a sister, a friend, a daughter, a cook, a nurse, a homeschool teacher, and a time manager. A mom often wears many hats, but my passion is to be an active part of the Body of Christ glorifying God in all that I do.
I graduated from Texas A&M with a bachelor’s in Business Administration in 2001, studying Management and Nutrition. I took Culinary classes, interned with Naples Florida Wellness Center with Nutritionists in 2002, continued to receive my RN in 2007. Throughout the journey of studying, I gained knowledge and an appreciation for the complexity of Healthy Living and the multifaceted components to health. I continue to study food, cooking and nutrition learning new ways to incorporate the foods from the Garden God intended for our bodies to eat.
Pregnancy triggered a spiraling of health challenges of my own and I was left hopeless for many years. In 20012, my family was diagnosed with an intolerance to gluten and it rocked my world. This was only the beginning of our eliminations, but was also the beginning of healing. A few very dear friends walked me through this challenge, embarking on a new walk of hope. In 2013, a neighbor and friend shared Juice Plus with me and we quickly added Juice Plus Capsules to our diet believing it would help with the absorption issues we were facing. Through the process of eliminating harmful allergens and incorporating Juice Plus, we began to heal our gut and find a new vibrancy of life that we had been lacking for many years.
After walking through this lonely journey, I desire to help others find their hope and support them through practical ways of adding new foods, safe and effective personal products, non-toxic household goods, all essential components to healthier living.
