Cabbage Sausage Soup


  • 3 TBSP Coconut Oil
  • 1 Head of Cabbage
  • 1 Large Sweet Onion
  • 2 TBSP Salted Minced Garlic
  • 2 TBSP Better than Bouillon Chicken Broth
  • 1 lb Sausage of your Choice – Look for 100 percent grass-fed to ensure no grain finishing.  This recipe is tasty without the meat too.
  • 6 Red Potatoes Chopped
  • 1 small head of broccoli
  • Himalayan Salt to Taste


In large dutch oven, melt coconut oil and saute onion, salted minced garlic, and chicken broth.  Dice and Cook your sausage links, if not cooked.  We used Bison linked Sausage. Cut and dice cabbage, potatoes, and broccoli.   Add water to cover vegetables, salt to taste, cover and simmer until vegetables are tender.  Serve over rice.
